New layouts coming to Drupal

Have you updated your site to a 2 or 3 column layout? If so, an action is required on your part before April 5th!

The afternoon/evening of April 5th, ITS is pushing out an update to the system. This update removes the current 2 and 3 column layout options and replaces them with new layouts. On April 6th, you'll have access to a wider range of layouts. Due to this change, the old 2 and 3 column options will no longer be available. Pages using these layouts will be inaccessible after the change and would need to be recreated. In order to avoid this, please follow the steps below by morning April 5th at the latest:

  1. Review your site pages
  2. If any pages use the 2 or 3 column layouts, put them back to 1 column by using the Panelizer.
  3. Click on "Change Layout" in Panelizer and select One column under "Columns: 1". (Rearrange content as needed)
  4. Save your page

Note: If you have never changed a layout using Panelizer, then you are using one column for all your pages.

On April 6th, you'll see new layouts available. You can then update your layouts on April 6th back to a variety of columns.
