Button Bar Styles, XML Sitemap, and more
By Campus Web Solutions Team |

The March sprint release for Drupal is scheduled for Saturday, March 7th, starting at 6am. Please refrain from editing sites on Saturday and check TechAlerts for updates.

Updates & Changes

  • Drupal Core update to 8.7.9
  • Underline on Hyperlinks will be reintroduced. Linked content will display an underline where applicable.
  • CSS fix for Inside UCR Announcements and Awards and Scotmemo listings applied.
  • A fix for Article feed conflict applied. There was an override happening on the feed import when a preview block was placed within the Article Listing.
  • CNAS Theme - quite a few CSS issues have been fixed for the theme.
  • Bug introduced - The article category listing pages will show minimal styling and not be padded correctly. This will be fixed in the April release. Tag listing pages and the main listing page were not affected.

XML Sitemap

An XML Sitemap module has been enabled for all sites. This sitemap is used to help search engines intelligently crawl the website and keep their results up to date. Be sure to have a site builder update the settings! It is important to have it set up correctly so it will crawl the correct files. To update the settings go to Configuration -> Search and Metadata -> XML Sitemap. Read more on how to configure the XML Sitemap

Button Bar Styles

The custom block, Button Bar, now has all the button styles to choose from as the WYSIWYG styles dropdown. Editors are no longer limited to only three styles.
